Our Next Monthly Meeting

Note: MWBA meets on the third Wednesday of each month.

February 4, 8:00 a.m., at Denny's Restaurant, 2525 W Deer Valley Rd, Phoenix, AZ. Come an hour early and enjoy breakfast and chatter. The agenda typically includes: brief words of wisdom from the President, “Welcome, New Members,” the Treasurer’s Brief Report on Solvency, our most recent tournament results (winners receive their checks for the Tmx and cash for the Side Pot), the next tournament (location, launching information and initial pairings), a 50:50 Cash Pot and a raffle of member-donated items.

Our meetings rarely go beyond 9:30 a.m.

New and Old Members: Please bring something to donate something to the raffle! Proceeds go to the Club, to help keep down the cost of annual membership.

Surely you have extra Banjo Minnows, Helicopter Lures and Walking Worms. Maybe a new trolling motor with SpotLock and all the trimmings?

Just think of it: Donating unneeded tackle and other fishing equipment will make room for new stuff that you desperately need. Or think you need. Either way, it’s a win-win situation.

Personally, I’ve decided to believe that, for fishing and boat equipment, what I want is what I need. That’s probably why I might be a Tackle Hoarder.
