Some Benefits of MWBA Membership
MWBA’s annual membership dues (new or renewal) are low. For 2026, they are $43 if paid online and $40 if paid at a monthly meeting. Our Tournament Entry Fees are also low. For 2026, they are $63 if paid online and $60 if paid at a monthly meeting. Both are intentionally low and a source of pride, because the Club was created and continues to provide members with affordable memberships and tournament opportunities. We won’t trade low fees for big tournament payouts and Club profits.
Members-Only Tournaments that allow paired anglers to help each other learn how to fish specific lakes in certain seasons and certain conditions. The anglers improve their skills and gain knowledge about other members' fishing strengths. Over the course of a Tournament Year, this enhances the competition—fair, friendly competition.
Fish with people who share your passion for bass fishing. Communal camping and cookouts are great environments for friendly discussions.
Annual Awards Banquets that celebrate the previous year and kick off a new one. They recognize members’ accomplishments and inspire more participation and competition.
A Raffle at each Annual Banquet turns ticket sales into prizes. Ticket sales also fund our next year of activity. And they help keep membership costs low.
MWBA tournaments and sidebar discussions can improve members’ fishing skills. Exchanging ideas and tips with more seasoned anglers helps all become more proficient bass anglers.
Midweek isn't just about fishing. Or catching. It's about becoming an active part of a close-knit community of anglers who share a common passion. Participation forges new friendships and strengthens old ones.
